Danielle Norman
Program Director/ Program Coordinator
Hello, my name is Danielle. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I graduated, with honors, from both the DSW (Developmental Service Worker) and CSSW (Community Social Service Worker) programs. I have been working in the field for 10 years but I have personal and relatable experience to living with a loved one who lives with a disability.
I have worked in many different settings such as day camps for children with disabilities, day programs for both youth and adults, the Ottawa Catholic School Board as an EA, and group homes where I was the group home supervisor for both youth and adult homes. All of my experience has led me to where I am today, the Program Director/ Coordinator of my own program.

I am fun, patient and easy going. I have a natural ability to build a rapport and connect with the individuals that I work with. I enjoy being able to teach and guide my program participants to be able to be as self reliant and independent as they can be while also facilitating opportunities and experiences that might not necessarily come easily to the individuals that I work with. I love to see the joy on their faces when they realize that they have the capabilities and skills to do things independently.

In my spare time you'll find me spending time with my beloved pets, exploring nature and enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with family or close friends.

Christie Nicol
Program Volunteer
Christie has been working in the field for 12 years. She has worked in settings such as group homes, foster homes, and day programs.
​
Christie is creative and loves to get hands on directly participating in program activities with our program participants.
Because of Christie's outgoing personality, our program participants gravitate towards her and love when she comes to volunteer.

In Christie's spare time you can find her listening to music, going to live shows, socializing with her friends, or learning about crystal healing.
